Birds for Sale in Michiana
Royal Wings Aviary is located in the Michiana area in the northern part of Indiana. We have many birds for sale. They range from Scarlet-chested Grass Parakeets, parrotlets, lovebirds, black masked lovebirds, dilute black masked lovebirds, English Budgies, Rosey Bourkes, and cockatielsn, and canaries to larger parrots, including Princess of Wales and macaws. We travel to bird fairs throughout the Midwest, including Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Missouri. You are welcome to pick up your baby at our Michiana aviary or at one of the bird fairs we will be attending. Prices for birds for sale below do not include shipping.

There will be several vendors at the Michiana Elite Bird Fair on March 24, 2012, who have parrotlets. You will be able to find handfed parrotlets in a variety of colors. Yes, handfed baby parrotlets do usually make adorable pets.
Hi, i got your name from Bonny in Chicago and i am looking for a rosie bourke parakeet. Are your rosies hand tamed and how old are they? Do you have them available now or when will they be weaned? I don’t have a lot of time to hand tame them, but if they are already tame i can spend time with them every day during my daily activities. I work the 3-11 shift so i would not be able to take them out when i get home, but the mornings and weekends would give us time to spend together. Thank you for your response.

Royal Wings Aviary has many young handfed birds for sale presently. However, we do not have any Rosie Bourkes right now. I am just in the process of putting nest boxes on for many of our parrots, as they have had a rest over the winter. You will want a handfed baby that is weaned. That way you will not have to take the time to hand tame your pet. We should have baby Rosie Bourkes later this Spring. Please check back with us.

The male is a pet, about 12 years old, and is out most of the time. However, he is cage territorial. The female was a handfed pet. She is about 6 years old and has decided she wants a man. She is beautiful but has the attitude of a breeder bird.
I was wondering if anyone has green Quaker parrots. I will go to the Michiana fair if there’s anyone with them.

Can’t believe I wasn’t aware of the bird fair at bethel college…I live right off Logan Street about 4 blocks away from bethel…ugh. I have been reading quite a bit about Quaker Parrots and am very interested in purchasing one but have been all over online looking for somewhere somewhat close because I’m not too keen on the shipping a future pet thing (no offense to anyone meant of course). I cant believe you were right down the street from me just days ago…could you relay any info to me on reputable breeders that I could purchase a quaker from that is possibly within a couple of hours from mishawaka or closer? You should have caught the one that got loose at Bethel. Did you see him on the news? They nicknamed him “Larry Bird” because he was in the Weikamp gym. He was finally caught after 5 days.
We go the a monthly fair in Rolling Meadows, IL. Pecan Acres has beautiful quakers–all colors. They usually are there. The next Rolling Meadows fair is next weekend, April 14, always the second Saturday of the month. Hours are 10 to 3, and they are an hour behind us in time.

We had a great turnout and raised a lot of money for the zoo an endangered bird species. We had great certificates from quality area restaurants, golf courses, and businesses, as well as seed, cages, bird toys, and even finches in the silent auction.
There were almost 50 vendors there, and people received “shopping bags” donated by area banks as they came in.

Hey I see that you have a double yellow headed amazon for sale for $800 may I ask how old the parrot is. I am trying to convince my parents into letting me get the bird, we can easily afford if and I have multiple expirences myself with owning birds and realize it takes a lot of responsibility. If it isnt any trouble can you tell me some characteristics of the parrot, and if you can give me some advice on sweet talking my parents.
